CardFlight is a software-as-a-service company offering mobile payments technology and point of sale solutions. We offer a Software Development Kit for developers to quickly add payment acceptance, integrated with their app's functionality and data, enabling them to offer their own custom user experience and application with payments. Our SwipeSimple platform includes EMV chip card reader hardware, iOS and Android mobile apps, and hosted web portals for resellers and their merchants, enabling Financial Institutions, Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs) and Merchant Service Providers to offer their merchants a great solution for accepting payments on smartphones and tablets. Our technology platform is EMV chip card enabled with encrypted card readers, and PCI Level 1 compliant payment gateway supporting all major U.S. processors. As industry leaders, we take pride in building the latest mobile payments technology and establishing partnerships to enable more companies to accept mobile payments. We have partnered with 15 of the top 60 merchant acquirers in the U.S and are currently working across a variety of verticals with companies like Artsy, Indochino, Flywheel and Peloton, making mobile point-of-sale easy for our clients and their users.

Director of Marketing

• Head of marketing and company’s first marketing hire, reporting to the CEO. 
• Create a 360 integrated marketing plan, leading all marketing initiatives from strategy to execution, including design, content, demand generation, events, PR and social media.
• Establish the company brand, positioning, and product nomenclature.
• Revitalize our brand by launching a new website within 90 days, resulting in: 
  Sessions > 46.59% Users > 48.79%, Bounce Rate < 26.69%
• Build, design and manage the corporate website, incl. creating landing pages, forms, and managing the lead funnel.
• Write content and optimized SEO, SEM resulting in increased “Contact Us” submissions. 
• Plan and execute all digital multi-touch campaigns, email marketing, AdWords, display ads, 3rd party banners, sponsored content on LinkedIn and webinars. 
• Successful implementation and roll out of Salesforce CRM  and Pardot (3rd party marketing automation) across sales and operations teams.    
• Manage all PR activities thought leadership content, pitching and secured industry articles.
• Expand and enhance social media footprint, across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
• Provide marketing tools for sales, customer success and operations by building customized and branded pitch decks, onboarding materials, training materials, videos, webinars, and whitepapers. 
• Successful execution of integrated marketing campaigns for all product launches.
• Initiate budget creation for all departments by working cross-functionally with Finance. Including building the annual budget and projections for marketing and report all marketing activities to the board. 
• Manage a team of full-time and freelance employees, and outside vendors.
